T'ai Chi Sword
Throughout millennia of human history the primary weapon has been the sword. Today, even non-martially oriented people often seem fascinated by sword play. It is an intriguing study, and teaches us many things.
For example, we get to investigate our relationship with objects. Learning to more effectively handle one object increases our ability to relate to and manage any object. Mastering the sword helps you learn to more effectively use all objects.
Cheng Hsin Boxing
The Cheng Hsin Striking Arts series covers instruction from the ground up to develop all of the basics of boxing. Correct and powerful punching — using the body designed around mechanically sound principles — dodging, footwork, strategies, kicking, and more are all laid out and taught step by step. We investigate domains such as distance, timing, unity, force, perception, and feeling-sensitivity.

If you pay per session it'll be cash and if you pay monthly we'll set up a Direct Debit or standing order with your bank. If you're taking private sessions with Mike, you can choose either cash or bank transfer, whichever's easiest for you. Whatever you decide, your 1st lesson is always free.
That's ok, we have them too. Mike has heart failure and atrial fibrillation and still manages to train well and successfully. If in doubt please consult your physician before starting and have a chat with us. We can tailor the sessions to your capabilities so you won't miss out on anything
